ne of Ultima Onlines best attributes, was the volunteer workers that took time out of their own schedule to help in
running UO. There were counselors dressed in blue who could be called upon by players who were experiencing problems, and seers who
would arrange quests and special events in addition to others, all who contributed to making UO a smooth running
system. These volunteers were not payed, but instead were granted free playtime in UO. Game masters were dressed
in red and were the only ones actually payed a salary to work in UO and were not fired.
The news came swiftly and suddenly, putting the whole UO community in utter shock. Huge protests and petitions were
held all over the Internet and also in UO itself. These pictures are from the protests at the counselors guild in
Britain, Europa.

his was the sight when VMM
arrived in north Britain. Hundreds upon hundreds of players protesting, many dressed in bright blue to signify
the counselors blue robes. Note the many famous names amongst the crowd such as Oona Moonstone.
MM watched as people spoke their minds. Whether there were any official OSI people around to hear these opinions,
one cannot know. But people were in a rage and it wasn't pretty. VMM noticed something new outside of the building and went to investigate.
